Position Description:

The Component Inventory Manager supports the mission of Anchor Fabrication Kansas by ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity. This position will directly manage staff that handle the day-to-day inventory processes, assist with resolving inventory discrepancies, perform inventory audits and train team members.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily reports which may include negative on hand items, cycle count requests, and discrepancy items.
  • Ensure processes are followed and parts are identified and stored properly.
  • Assist in posting jobs from production.
  • Perform scheduled and random audits for inventory processes.
  • Investigate discrepancies and process-driven issues and provide solutions to prevent repeat discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with appropriate staff on any shortage issues.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to achieve optimal results.
  • Ensure safety systems and procedures are followed.
  • Identify staffing constraints and provide position hiring recommendations. 
  • Provide training to improve processes across the organization.
  • Consider and contribute continuous improvement ideas and implement upon approval.
  • Undertake other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility of position.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years in Inventory Control
  • 3-5 years in a Manufacturing Environment Minimum
  • 3-5 years in a Supervisory Role.
  • ·Previous experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Must possess high organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach and move about the facility.
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, bending, squatting and twisting.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
  • Normal office environment.
  • Exposure to shop environment.

Other:

  • Working more than 40 hours per week will be required on a frequent basis in order to complete company deliverables.

Salary: USD 72000 - 108000 per year
