Extended Hours Surveillance Analyst
<div><p></p><p></p><div><div><p><b>The Role</b></p></div><div><p>We'relooking for an Extended Hours Surveillance Analyst to join our Market Surveillance team. In this role, you'llhelp protect market integrity by monitoring trading activity during overnight sessions in our 23/5 exchange environment.</p></div><div><p>You'llfit right in if you'redetail-oriented, comfortable working independently during non-traditional hours, and energized by the responsibility of safeguarding fair and orderly markets.</p></div><div><p></p><p><b>Shift Details:</b><br/>Sunday evening through Friday morning, 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM (Eastern Time) </p><p>Initial training (up to 3 months) would be standard hours. </p></div><div><p></p><p><b>What You'll Do</b></p></div><div><ul><li><p>Monitor equity trading in real time,identifyingsuspicious patterns, unusual price movements, and order book anomalies.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Review automated surveillance alerts and material disclosures from listed companies, escalating issues when needed.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Intervene in trading when necessary, including trade breaks and trading suspensions.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Draft preliminary referrals for suspected market abuse or disciplinary matters.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Collaborate with the MarketWatch team to fulfill regulatory responsibilities and contribute to special projects.</p></li></ul></div><div><p></p><p><b>What You'll Bring</b></p></div><div><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, ora relatedfield.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>1–3 years of experience in market surveillance, compliance, trading operations, ora related area.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Strong understanding of equity markets and trading mechanisms.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to work independently during overnight hours and make sound decisions under pressure.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.</p></li></ul></div><div><p></p><p><b>Nice to Have</b></p></div><div><ul><li><p>Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and market abuse detection.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Knowledge of surveillance tools and alert management systems.</p></li></ul></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>What We Offer</b></p><p></p><p>We’re proud to offer a competitive rewards package that is meaningful, recognizes the unique needs of our employees and their families and incentivizes employees for their contribution to Nasdaq’s overall success.</p><p></p><p>In addition to base salary, Nasdaq offers significant other compensation (annual bonus/commissions and equity), benefits, and opportunity for growth.
